Getting Married? How To Book Transportation For The Big Day

Planning your wedding is fun, exciting and let’s be honest a bit stressful. WSL is lucky to be part of so many couples’ big days. We work with brides and grooms all the time to make sure getting everyone to and from the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception and back home again is well organized and under control.

Here’s what you need to know before you book your wedding transportation (don’t miss the special offer at the end!):

When

As soon as you lock down a date for the ceremony and reception, it’s a good idea to contact your Chicago wedding limousine service to make a reservation. Ideally, you should make a reservation at least two months in advance of the event to ensure vehicles are available, especially during the busy Spring and Summer months.

Who

The answer to this question is critical to determining how many luxury vehicles to reserve. Are you providing rides for the entire wedding party? What about parents and grandparents? Do you want to offer car service to and from the airport for any out-of-town guests? It’s important to walk through the logistics of the event and figure out who needs to be where and when. WSL can help you create a timeline for all your transportation needs and provide you with an itinerary of pick-up times, locations and vehicles. Details are important!

Where

There are generally three trips to coordinate for multiple wedding party members on the big day.

To the ceremony – Are members of the bridal party traveling separately? What about parents or other special guests?
To the reception – If the reception is at a different venue than the ceremony, after the vows how is everyone getting to the party? Do you have any stops along the way you want to make for photos?
After the reception – How is everyone getting home or back to the hotel? Do you need flexibility with departure times?

Special Requests
