West Suburban Limousine Supports COD Scholarship Golf Classic

West Suburban Limousine was proud to join local businesses, alumni and community members for the 2026 College of DuPage Alumni Scholarship Golf Classic, a day on the course with a much bigger purpose behind it: helping make a College of DuPage education possible for more students.

More than 30 teams of golfers participated in this year's event, with groups of four to five players coming together to support scholarship opportunities for COD students.

Making College More Accessible for Local Students

For some students, the biggest obstacle standing between them and a college education isn't their willingness to work for it. It's simply being able to afford it.

The Alumni Scholarship Golf Classic helps raise funds for students who may not qualify for traditional financial aid or other scholarship opportunities, but for whom the cost of college can still create a significant barrier.

These scholarships can help close that gap, making a College of DuPage education more affordable and feasible for students who might otherwise struggle to attend.

It's a mission that has made a meaningful difference over the years. Since its inception, the College of DuPage Alumni Scholarship Golf Classic has raised more than $430,000 to create scholarship opportunities for COD students.

A Great Day of Golf for a Great Cause

This year's Golf Classic brought together more than 30 teams, along with sponsors, volunteers, College of DuPage alumni and other supporters for a day of golf and community involvement.

West Suburban Limousine was happy to be among them.

Events like this are a reminder of what can happen when local businesses and community members come together behind a shared goal. Each golfer, sponsor and volunteer helps contribute to something that extends well beyond a single day on the course.

For the students who ultimately benefit from these scholarships, that support can help put an education—and the opportunities that come with it—within reach.

Supporting the Community WSL Calls Home

The western suburbs aren't simply where West Suburban Limousine does business. They've been our home for more than 60 years.

Over those decades, we've had the opportunity to serve generations of families, businesses, schools and organizations throughout the area. Supporting events like the College of DuPage Alumni Scholarship Golf Classic is one way we're able to give back to the same community that has supported WSL for so many years.

We're proud to support an event focused on opening doors for local students and helping make higher education more accessible.
